Side channel blowers
Technical information/full product list
The operating principle of the side channel blower is rather simple: a fan with small fins rotates within a stator. The centrifugal force and the rotation create small vortexes of air that are drawn by the blades from the intake to the exhaust.
There are no parts in contact and thus blowers do not require routine maintenance; however they may run continuously only within certain pressure ranges, since the intake air ia also used as the cooling medium. That is why it is necessary to install vacuum and pressure limitation valves to avoid damaging the motor. This product is very versatile and not especially delicate. If used as a compressor, its output flow is clean and non-pulsating.
The main areas of use include: pneumatic conveying, water treatment and aeration, vacuum clamping, air knives and air beds. |
